QC Raw Materials Wet Chemistry Analyst

Job Description

• Perform raw material sampling and testing using wet chemistry techniques.

• Conduct visual and analytical testing to support release of pharmaceutical packaging and medical device components.

• Document test results, maintain laboratory records, and review associated documentation.

• Write, review, and update SOPs, specifications, and related laboratory documents.

• Calibrate, verify, and maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and instrumentation.

• Ensure compliance with cGMP, regulatory, and quality requirements.

• Participate in training and collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and cross-functional partners.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and 5S principles.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced GMP environment

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, or a related field

• Hands-on lab testing experience with wet chemistry techniques

• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

• Position is full-time, 1st shift 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.

• Pay range: $22.50 - $23.50 / hour
