Consumer Health Data Notice
Last updated: October 26, 2026
Some US states, such as Washington and Nevada, have laws for health data that is not covered by HIPAA. What you type into our interaction checker can be health data under these laws. This notice explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and how to see or delete it. It adds to our Privacy Policy.
What we collect
- The vitamins, supplements and medicines you enter in the interaction checker.
- The result of the check.
- If you are signed in: the check is linked to your account (name and email), so you can see it again in your history.
We do not collect diagnoses, conditions, test results, location data or anything from health devices. We do not ask for any of these.
Where it comes from
Only from you, when you run a check. We do not buy health data or get it from other companies.
Why we use it
- To answer your check.
- To show your past checks in your history, if you are signed in.
- To keep the checker running and stop abuse, such as automated mass checks.
We never use it for advertising, we never sell it, and we do not train AI models on it.
Your consent
We only collect this data when you run a check. The checker shows a short note about it right under the check button. You can withdraw your consent at any time: stop using the checker and ask us to delete your saved checks.
Who it is shared with
We share it only with service providers that help us run the checker, under contract:
- Anthropic (Claude): analyses the items you enter. It receives only the list of items, not your name or email.
- Supabase: stores saved checks for signed-in users.
- Hostinger and Cloudflare: host and protect the website.
We have no affiliates that receive this data. We do not share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Check answers are cached for up to 7 days without your details, so repeat checks are faster. Saved checks stay in your history until you ask us to delete them or delete your account.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you whether we hold health data about you, and give you a copy;
- list the service providers that received it;
- delete it, including copies held by our service providers;
- stop collecting it (withdraw consent).
