PROJECT ENGINEER MANAGER

Job Summary

Responsible for managing expansion projects. Responsible for the design, procurement, installation and improvement of manufacturing and utility equipment. Responsible for the design and fabrication/construction of equipment and facilities. Responsible for all US and EU regulatory requirements as it relates to facilities and equipment.

Directly manages engineers to meet all regulatory and company specific policy requirements and to improve plant efficiency, capacity, capability and modernization objectives.

Salary Range: $90,816 - $126,991

Position is eligible to participate in a bonus plan with a target of 10% of the base salary.

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY THE INCUMBENT

• Manage projects such as the design and installation of new or upgraded manufacturing lines and utility systems.

• Manage the design and construction of new and renovated facilities.

• Manage departmental and capital budgets.

• Manage the preparation and execution of validation protocols for new and upgraded equipment and facilities.

• Assist maintenance and operations in problem solving and process improvements.

• Maintain cGMP, EU, OSHA, and DEC compliance through implementation and adherence to SOP’s and governmental regulations.

• Initiate change control, risk assessments, work orders, SOP’s, AOF’s, purchase orders, and other paperwork in compliance with Company policy.

Additionally

• Collaborates with the Environmental Management System Representative for ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are met under ISO 14001 standards.

• Collaborates with the Energy Management System Representative for ensuring that Energy Management Requirements are met under ISO 50001 standards.

• Collaborates with the Occupational Health and Safety Management Representative for ensuring compliance to Occupational Health and Safety is met under ISO 45001.
