Overview
d-Alpha tocopheryl acetate is an ester form of vitamin E, used to give it a longer shelf life while keeping its antioxidant action. The body breaks down and absorbs this ester as well as plain alpha-tocopherol. Large doses of vitamin E with warfarin or other blood thinners can raise the risk of bleeding.
Also called: Tocopheryl Acetate, RRR-Alpha-Tocopheryl Acetate
